Hi! I’m Roxanne. I’m a professional London photographer, helping my clients share their truth with the world through my portrait and product photography. Although I began my studies doing English Lit, I dropped it immediately after walking into my college darkroom for the first time. Since then, I’ve constantly had a camera in my hands, learning and growing with each new project.
What I do?
Product Photography
I love food. I love eating it, I love cooking it, and I love taking photos of it. From this love of food photography I learned a lot of techniques for shooting indoors, and I tested these skills out doing photos for my own greeting card company, I am Roxanne. From there it was a simple step into becoming a London product photographer, and now my work covers all sorts of stuff from children’s books, stationery and hair products.
Portrait Photography
My first steps as a London portrait photographer began with a shoot for an activist friend of mine. In taking some headshots for their project, I felt such a strong feeling of connection that comes from the intimacy of photographing people’s faces. I love getting to know people and using that knowledge to reveal their truth through my photos.
It’s important to me to take the time to get to know the subject of my photos before beginning the shoot. I take pride in helping people feel comfortable during their sessions, helping to avoid areas of insecurity and reveal the beautiful truth within.
